Application Guide

Aradin Charitable Trust awards Small Grants (between 150 and 2,000) to individuals and Large Grants (above 2,000) to projects.

Small Grants are open for application at any time and are for projects involving language and academic training, publishing, and professional development.

Large Grants are open for application twice a year and we welcome in particular proposals with long-term impact on local communities and those that provide research opportunities for female and disabled scholars.

Aradin is flexible in responding to exceptional educational and academic needs in the region where research is to be pursued.

Please note that Aradin will only consider project proposals submitted through the online application system. No applications will be accepted by mail or e-mail.

Who is eligible?

- Applications are encouraged from scholars from Middle Eastern Christian communities.

- Aradin is particularly interested in projects providing opportunities for the involvement of postgraduate students and early career academics from collaborating higher education institutes.

Please note that Aradin Charitable Trust is unable to give grants to individuals at undergraduate level.

With the exception of language and research skills courses, Aradin is unlikely to provide funding for degree courses without a significant research component.
